  Course Objectives:

With energy costs on the rise globally and power availability becoming a determinate factor in corporate data center strategy, the ability to manage costs through understanding the data center power chain is now high priority. This advanced course is aimed at data center managers and other experienced data center professionals, and will impart an understanding of the use and cost of energy in data centres with an appreciation of the contributing factors, awareness of best practices at a high level and strategies to control and manage energy efficiency in the data centre environment. The course will also look into carbon reporting and advanced energy efficiency metrics.
