Workshop on Green ICT
On the occasion of the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2010 , the National Computer Board organised a workshop on Green ICT on the 17th May 2010.
The theme that was adopted by the International Telecommunication Union is “Better city, better life with ICTs” to mark World Telecommunication and Information Society Day in 2010, which represents the common wish of all humankind to achieve better living standards in future urban environments. The theme of the 2010 WTISD aims to ensure that ICTs will contribute to a better future for the growing populations of urban centres.
